Black and Puerto Rican Legislative Conference starts February 13
You
may be able to buttonhole your state legislator and have fun too at the Annual
Legislative Conference Weekend at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
“This is a great opportunity for our members to talk to their state assemblymen
and senators about the state budget when the pressure is off and they have some
time to listen,” said PEF Vice President Pat Baker, who is coordinating PEF’s
participation in the conference.
“Even if you can’t be here for the entire conference, come on Saturday and meet
your legislator at the PEF reception,” Baker said.
Sponsored by the NYS Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators Inc., the
conference begins Friday, February 13, and runs through Sunday, February 15.
