The holidays are always an extraordinary time of year
with people bustling about and spreading good cheer. 2009 was no exception,
as PEF members opened their hearts and wallets to make sure those less
fortunate had a special season.
From Long Island to Binghamton and Buffalo, members collected money, toys,
food, eye glasses and clothing to give to organizations that provide for the
needy.
In some places, it was the first time members gave to a cause. And with
others, it was an annual tradition. It was all done because of the warm
hearts and generosity of people who heard the calling of the real meaning of
the holidays.
