Highlights![]() HARNESSING AND ADAPTING TO CHANGE — Members interact and network at the “Building Labor-Management for the Future” conference held October 14-16 in Albany. The conference, organized by PEF VP and L-M Coordinator Pat Baker, featured ways to help leaders deal with adversity, changing dynamics in the workplace, and new ways to create opportunities to enhance communications at L-M meetings. More than 70 people attended the event, which closed with a panel discussion on L-M issues and PEF resources. — Photo by Richard Dillard ![]() POLITICAL ACTION AND MORE — Members in PEF Regions 11 and 12 participate in a leadership conference to learn more about political action strategies. The conference was held in Rye Brook November 4-6. The 90 participants learned about building legislative strength, increasing regional awareness, correct ways to “lobby,” the Triborough Amendment, writing a resolution, housing equality and the affects of nutrition on aging.
