A SEASON OF CARING — PEF leaders, members, retirees and staff continued holiday traditions in 2011. They gathered, wrapped and delivered gifts and baskets of food to those less fortunate. The recipients included the children at St. Margaret’s Orphanage in Albany, families of parolees who have made a noticeable effort to improve their lives, and Toys for Tots. PEF President Ken Brynien said, “Every year, the PEF family opens their hearts with generosity. We understand and hold close the real meaning of the holidays. Our tradition is enriched each and every year by their goodness.” — Photos by Lois Dysard, John Epting and Sherry Halbrook
