CHARITY BRIDGE – PEF members at the state Department of Transportation Sonjoy Sikder, Judy Fenoff, George Senft, Rohit Dagli and Robert Foote assemble a bridge made from donations to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. food drive in January. The project stimulated interest in the food drive for the Northeast Regional Food Bank, and increased donations.
It took the members four days to design and complete the bridge, which was constructed during their lunch breaks. The idea originated with DOT Commissioner Astrid Glynn. The members work in the DOT Structures Division in Albany.
