Workers Memorial day
Remember slain workers on April 28

Since 1989, union-backed workers around the world have recognized April 28th as Workers Memorial Day.
It’s a time to mourn those killed on the job, and a time to for union members to rededicate ourselves to the task of making workplaces safer.
As The Communicator goes to press, the state AFL-CIO and various local labor councils are planning events in honor of Workers Memorial Day.

Please check the New York State AFL-CIO website for details at http://www.nysaflcio.org
As you participate in Workers Memorial Day events, please remember these PEF members who were killed in the line of duty.
