Nominees sought to fill 3 E. Board vacancies

Petitioning begins April 1 to fill three mid-term vacancies on the PEF Executive Board.

The vacancies to be filled by special election in the second quarter are Seats 210, 230 and 325.
Seat 210 represents all PEF members at the state Insurance Fund statewide working in field services, premium auditing, customer service, underwriting and vocational rehabilitation.

Seat 230 represents all PEF members at the state Labor Department in PEF Regions 5-7.

Seat 325 represents certain PEF members in Region 9 at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center (PC), at Mid-Hudson PC, and at Central NY PC, and the state Office of Mental Health (OMH) Main Office.

Petitioning for nominees ends April 22. If more than one candidate is certified for a position, ballots will be mailed to that constituency May 12. They must be returned the American Arbitration Association by June 3, for counting June 4 in New York City. – Sherry Halbrook
