More than a
hundred members have already signed up to receive The Communicator online as
part of PEF’s involvement in “going green.”
“Receiving the online version of our monthly magazine is a step toward
becoming more environmentally sound,” said PEF President Ken Brynien. “With
the world turning to solar energy, green roofs, hybrid cars and dozens of
other earth-friendly ways, PEF is taking an active role in preserving our
planet.”
For every 100 e-mail readers who switch to reading The Communicator
on line, PEF will plant a tree at its Albany headquarters location. And the
more people who subscribe online, the fewer trees will be used in the paper
production of the magazine.
Another advantage of going green with The Communicator is notification with
an E-Blast when the current issue is posted online.
To sign-up and avoid e-mail bounce backs, send us your home e-mail address.
You may not subscribe with your state e-mail address.
Your name will be removed from the print subscription mailing list, but all
other PEF mailings to your home address will continue.
Of course, you may restart your Communicator print subscription at any time
if you miss paging through your union news.
