GREAT BEGINNING — Dozens of PEF members gathered in Manhattan on May 31 for the inaugural meeting of the union’s new PEF Indo-American Committee. Cyriac Thottam, president of the committee, PEF Vice Presidents Ken Brynien and Pat Baker, and Regional Coordinators Jennifer Faucher and Jemma Marie-Hansen addressed the group.

Eight members of the new committee wore the traditional dress of their native cultures (shown with officers and speakers at right), and the group listened to the national anthems of both the United States and India.

Also, committee member Radhakrishn Mohan gave a brief slide presentation and introduction to India. — Photo by Richard Dillard
