Reed joins Exec. Board; 3 more
seats open
One mid-term vacancy on the PEF Executive Board was filled June 6 by a special
election. Now, nominees are sought to fill three more vacant seats.
Oji Reed was elected to fill the remaining term for Seat 475. It represents
members of PEF Division 190A at the state Division of Taxation and Finance in
the Tax Appeals section in Troy, in the Division of the Treasury, and at central
offices in Building 9 of the state office campus, except at the Offices of
Counsel and of Tax Policy Analysis.
Nominees are sought to fill:
• Seat 315, representing certain members at the central offices of the state
Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, and PEF Region 8
members at the Capital District Developmental Disabilities Services Office;
• Seat 450, representing members at the Office of Temporary and Disability
Assistance in PEF Regions 6-8; and
• Seat 500, representing members at the state Transportation Department’s
Regions 1 (Schenectady) and 8 (Poughkeepsie).
Nominating petitions for these three vacancies will be available starting
Monday, July 9.
