FROM THE BEGINNING — Mike DeVoe is honored by PEF
Division 231 at the state Office of Real Property
Services for his service as a delegate to every PEF
convention, from the union’s Founding Convention in
1979 to its 25th Annual Convention last month in
Montreal. Presenting a plaque of appreciation to DeVoe
are Bill Heidelmark Jr., left, and Jim Haskell, right.
Only six other delegates have served at every PEF
convention. They are Stanley Byer, Region 9 Coordinator
Neila Cardus, Tom Grace, Paul Gregory, Mike Keenan and
