Save money on 2007 dependent care expenses
November 10 is the deadline for open enrollment in the Dependent Care Advantage
Account (DCAAccount) for 2007.
Two informational meetings will be held:
• 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, in Manhattan at 199 Church St in the 15th
floor auditorium; and
• 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, in Albany at the Empire State Plaza in Concourse
Meeting Room 2.
You must pre-register to attend one of these meetings. Call 800-358-7202 and
press 2.
Enrollment in this flexible spending account saves you money in two ways on your
eligible dependent-care expenses.
The state will contribute $200 to $700 (depending on your salary level) to help
you meet these expenses, and you can pay for the remaining costs with pre-tax
dollars you set aside in your DCAAccount.
