Good news for PEF's PS&T bargaining unit members. The Professional Development Committee recently allocated an extra $150,000 for the Public Service Workshop Program (PSWP).
Funding boost expands Public Service Workshop Program

Good news for PEF's PS&T bargaining unit members. The Professional Development
Committee recently allocated an extra $150,000 for the Public Service Workshop Program
(PSWP).
That means 60 to 70 additional PSWP workshops will be planned and offered in early 1999.
The PSWP offers non-credit, professional workshops to PEF/PS&T members. "Since the new offerings will be added after the January/March catalogue went to press, they will not be listed," said PEF Education and Training Director Cliff Merchant.
Flyers announcing the additional workshops will be available from Executive Board
members, agency education and training offices and agency PSWP liaisons. Additional
information is available at PSWP.
Merchant also says many of the new workshops will be targeted toward occupations that need
continuing education units and continuing legal education. Extra offerings of popular
workshops will also be added.
