windows already opened or opening
If you work at the state Office of Mental Health and are
eligible for the traditional Early Retirement Incentive
(ERI), “Part A,” you have until December 12 to
apply. Contact your personnel office for more
information.
The window will remain open until December 31 for
eligible state employees at the Division of Housing and
Community Renewal, Division of Parole, Department of
Motor Vehicles and Office of Children and Family
Services.
You have until January 3 to apply if you work at the
state Office of Taxation and Finance.
Option A of the ERI will not be offered at some state
agencies.
The state still has not opened the 90-day statewide
window for employees to apply for Part B — the 25/55
retirement option. If that window does not open in
December, it will automatically open January 1.
