United Way of NYS taps Fox for seat on Board of Directors

PEF Vice President Joe Fox of Troy has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the United Way of New York State.

Fox was co-chair of the statewide State Employees Federated Appeal in 2004. He also has been an officer in Kiwanis for the past three years.

Fox is serving his third three-year term as a PEF vice president. He previously served on the PEF Executive Board for 12 years. He has more than 30 years of service with the state Health Department where he is an assistant health care fiscal analyst. He has chaired the PEF Convention Committee for many years.

PEF President Roger Benson has just completed a two-year term as chairman of the board for United Way. He is succeeded in that post by David J. Mack of Rochester, senior vice president of The Lifetime Healthcare Companies and former CEO of the Democrat and Chronicle newspaper in Rochester. — Sherry Halbrook, Photo by Bill Sachs
