E. Board runoffs
Biette, Posner, Groll win seats

PEF had to hold runoff elections last year for three seats on the PEF Executive Board.

The run-offs were necessary because more than two candidates had vied for each of the three seats in the regular triennial elections, and no single candidate had received a majority of the votes in each of these races.

Winning the runoff elections were Roseanne Groll, Barbara Manolakos Posner and William J. Biette.

Groll was elected to Board Seat 65, representing members at the state Education Department who work in Vocational Education Services for Individuals with Disabilities in PEF Regions 1-7 and 9-12.

Posner won Seat 235, representing members at the state Labor Department in PEF Regions 9 and 12, and at the Workers’ Compensation Board in PEF Regions 8-12.

Biette gained Seat 485, which represents members at the state Tax and Finance Department — PEF Division 190C.
