Two elected to PEF Exec. Board;
More vacancies yet to be filled

Two vacant seats on the PEF Executive Board have been filled, a special mid-term election is in progress to fill a third vacancy, and nominees are now sought for a fourth vacant seat.
As the only certified candidates, Verneice Davenport and Diane Myers have been elected to Seats 360 and 345, respectively.

Davenport will represent PEF Region 10 members at the state Office of Mental Health, and Myers represents members at the Albany Housing Authority, Albany County Probation Department and at Oswego County.

Votes will be counted June 7 in an election between Janet Dell and Conrad Davis to fill Seat 470, which represents members of PEF Regions 9-12 at the state Department of Taxation and Finance.

The PEF Special Elections Committee is now seeking nominees to fill Executive Board Seat 305, which was vacated by the recent resignation of Juanita Babcock. This seat represents members at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, Children’s Services, Sunmount Developmental Disabilities Services Office, PEF Region 7 members at the state Office of Mental Health main office, and members at Central NY Psychiatric Center.

Nominating petitions for Seat 305 will be available beginning July 1, returnable by July 23.
