Professional leave, use it, or lose it

Professional leave is among the many benefits PS&T members enjoy under their contract which continue in effect while a new contract is being negotiated.

Article 12.15 gives members the opportunity to use up to three days per year to attend professional conferences and seminars and other programs, without charging other leave credits. Use of this leave for a specific date and event is subject to management approval.
If you don’t use it, the leave expires at the end of the year.
