Clarification: In addition to the Empire Plan paid-in-full, network benefit for wheelchairs and walkers in the February issue, members should know that there is also a non-network benefit available. The non-network benefit requires a member to meet the annual deductible, then the plan pays 50 percent of the network allowance. The member is responsible for any amount in excess of 50 percent of the network allowance.
