Two E. Board vacancies filled; two more seats now vacant

Two mid-term vacancies on the PEF Executive Board have been filled, and nominees are being sought to fill two other, more recent, vacancies.

Germaine Greco won a runoff election in January to fill Executive Board Seat 455, which represents members at the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance in PEF Regions 9-12.

In a March runoff election, Michael Sicko was chosen to fill Seat 40 representing members at the state Department of Correctional Services central office and the following facilities — Great Meadow, Coxsackie, Summit Shock, Mt. McGregor, Hudson, Washington and Greene.

Nominations were held in April for candidates to fill Seats 65 and 395.
Seat 65 represents all PEF members at the state’s Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID).

Seat 395 represents members at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center’s outpatient unit, Sagamore Psychiatric Center for Children and Youth, Region 12 members at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.

If more than one candidate for a seat is certified, ballots will be mailed to its constituents May 9, returnable to the American Arbitration Association by May 31 for counting on June 1.
