Finally, an end to the “Junk Food” state budgets of the past.

1. Saving taxpayers millions of dollars in engineering and information technology costs by reducing the use of costly consultants and relying, instead, on qualified state employees who can do the work better and for less.

2. Closing tax loopholes that allow corporations earning billions of dollars to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. This makes the tax system fairer by reducing the burden on New York’s working families.

3. Expanding the bottle bill to cover more types of containers, many of which didn’t exist when the original bill was passed. This will reduce litter, increase recycling and provide funds for environmental protection.
