The New York State Legislature unanimously passed S.1920/A.6542 to create more government accountability by requiring the disclosure of information for contract services entered into by state agencies. These services include computer programming, engineering, research, accounting and many other professional services. 

Right now, the state doesn’t know how many consultants work for it or even how much it spends on consultant contracts. 

It’s time to stop taxpayer abuse, increase government transparency and give the state a good management tool to help provide better service to New Yorkers at lower cost. Sign S.1920/A.6542 — the Contract Disclosure Bill into law.
