Middletown Psych Center.
Closing Doors. Killing Hope.

The Executive Budget places the Middletown Psychiatric Center on the state’s chopping block, killing the hope of scores of clients and their families.

Closing Middletown Psychiatric Center will take away essential, local, in-patient treatment options for people with mental illness, forcing them far away from their homes and families.

There is a better way. Ask the state’s most profitable corporations and wealthiest individuals to carry their fair share of the state’s fiscal burden. Close corporate tax loopholes and implement a temporary tax surcharge on the richest New Yorkers.

Tell state lawmakers to pass a budget that preserves all the available treatment options for people with mental illness in our communities.

Keep Middletown Psychiatric Center open. Keep hope alive.
