Discrimination can take many forms.
Keep the Manhattan Unemployment Telephone Claims Center Open.

The DOL's own statistics tell the story

The New York State Department of Labor (DOL) is planning to close its only New York City Unemployment Telephone Claims Center — where the majority of the employees are minorities — and move the jobs upstate.

This is racial discrimination and it must be stopped!
The New York State Public Employees Federation has filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the state Department of Labor and its commissioner, Linda Angello.

Don’t let the same state workers who process unemployment claims become the unemployed.

Stop the move! Keep the services where they are needed most, in Lower Manhattan.

Tell the state to keep the TCC in NYC
