THE ROOTS OF PEF GOING GREEN – This photo was taken on June 25, 2008 and shows PEF Vice President Joe Fox, Secretary-Treasurer Arlea Igoe, President Ken Brynien and Vice President Lou Matrazzo planting the first birch tree at PEF headquarters in PEF’s campaign to ‘go green’ with The Communicator.

As of July 2010 more than 650 members have signed up. The more people who subscribe to the electronic version, the fewer trees will be used in the magazine’s production.

For every 100 email readers that take action on this incentive, PEF will plant a tree at the Albany headquarters location. Future plantings will be announced.
